At HAYED our mission is to:
Educate people in animal welfare by providing activities, presentations and information in order to raise awareness.
To provide:

  • feeding programmes to local street animals;
  • adoption and fostering schemes to local street animals in need;
  • treatment to injured and ill street animals;
  • neutering operations to all rescued cats and dogs.

To engage in events and projects run by other local charities, our volunteers and local government to generate donations and funding to support HAYED in achieving these goals.

Feeding Programmes

There are thousands of street animals in Fethiye and neighbouring areas. It is a major challenge to raise enough money to purchase the food required to keep them healthy.
We have many volunteers distributing food to pods and feeding stations in the city and beach towns on a daily basis as well as going farther afield to those animals that have been dumped in the surrounding forests.
