Hayed is an association with no paid employees and totally relies on the support of volunteers.
We provide training for children on nature and animal love, nature and animal protection, recycling, climate change and precautions. So far, we have trained around 35,000 children in 3 years.
We are trying to invest in our future, starting with children, for the education of society on nature conservation, living with animals, recycling and global warming.
Educating the children of Fethiye to treat feral (street) animals; wild animals and pets with respect and kindness will improve the general welfare of all animals and, it is hoped, will spread through their families.
Ensuring animal welfare is a human responsibility that includes consideration for all aspects of animal well-being, including proper housing, management, nutrition, disease prevention and treatment, responsible care, humane handling, and, when necessary, humane euthanasia.
A few of the volunteers who made it possible to create such an amazing resource for the children and animals both.
Thanks to Lyn Ward from Fethiye Times for the fabulous photos.
